Daisy Mae

Sometimes, our animal welfare partners need a little help. Such was the case with Daisy Mae who was surrendered to a local shelter in the hopes of being adopted. Unfortunately, she was far too scared to be a good candidate for adoption. She was really struggling at the shelter so we were asked if we’d take her. We had room, so we agreed. Daisy Mae was a reluctant feral. While she pretended to not like humans, if we sat quietly, she would come around slowly and allow us to pet her. She wanted love so badly that she would set aside her fear.

Daisy Mae passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2022. Rest in peace sweet angel...
